WüSpace e. V.
Aerospace projects since 2019, made in Würzburg (Germany)
Students and aerospace?
WüSpace is a non-profit student organization based in Würzburg, Germany, that strives to give students experience in real-world aerospace projects while contributing to scientific advancements in this field.
It collaborates with the University of Würzburg and while not strictly a requirement, most members are also students at the university.
Our projects
At the core of WüSpace are our projects. While the projects differ a lot, with some working towards a fixed launch date while others improve their systems continuously, they are all combined in their passion for aerospace:
Daedalus 2: Using autorotation for recovery missions instead of parachutes.
T-REX 2: Tracking Rocket Experiments, using computer vision to track rocket launches.
Telestion: A framework for building ground station / mission control software.
KI-SENS: A project by the University in close collaboration with WüSpace.
EOS: Building a payload for the WüSpace weather balloon challenge.
